1. General Terms & Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Reef & Currents website ("the Site") and all purchases of products and services offered by Reef & Currents, owned by Suraj Pramanik.

By accessing the Site or engaging in our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

The Site is operated from India, and all transactions are governed by the laws of India, specifically the jurisdiction of Palghar, Maharashtra.

2. Product Sales & Order Process

Reef & Currents acts as a retailer for a range of freshwater aquatic fishes, plants, and accessories.

• Product Information: While we strive for accuracy, product descriptions, images, and pricing are subject to change without notice.
• Order as Enquiry: All website submissions (including "Add to Cart" and "Buy via WhatsApp" actions) constitute a purchase enquiry, not a confirmed order. A sales executive will contact the customer to confirm final price, stock availability, and delivery details.
• Payment: Final payment is processed offline after confirmation with a sales executive.
• Livestock Guarantee: Live fish and plants are guaranteed to be healthy upon departure from our facility. Specific guarantees regarding transit and acclimatization will be detailed by the sales executive at the time of final order confirmation.

3. Delivery & Shipping

We offer Pan India delivery for all suitable products, with special conditions for live aquatic products.

• Local Delivery (Vasai Region): Same-day delivery is available within the Vasai region. Delivery charges may apply or be waived based on order value, as communicated during order confirmation.
• Pan India Shipping: Shipping times and costs will vary based on location and the nature of the products. Customers accept the inherent risks of shipping live aquatic life over long distances.
• Risk of Loss: The risk of damage or loss for products passes to you upon delivery to the carrier (for Pan India shipping) or upon successful delivery to your address (for local delivery).

4. Professional Services (Maintenance & Aquascaping)

We offer a range of professional services, including Aquarium Setup, Maintenance & Cleaning, Fish Health & Care, Aquascaping, and Corporate Contracts.

• Service Quote: All service pricing (e.g., maintenance and cleaning charges, health and care charges) is subject to a custom quote based on the tank size, setup type, and specific requirements.
• Liability: While we use expert care, Reef & Currents is not responsible for pre-existing conditions in your tank (including disease, structural flaws, or water chemistry issues) not addressed or caused by our direct service.
• Filter Media: Maintenance service includes cleaning. Replacement of filter media is considered an extra cost and will be added only with customer consent.

5. Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of selling live aquatic products, our return policy is highly restricted:

• Live Goods: Live fish and plants cannot be returned or exchanged once they are in the customer's possession, unless they arrive clearly dead (Dead on Arrival - DOA). DOA claims must be submitted with video and photographic proof within 1 hour of delivery time.
• Equipment: Non-live equipment may be eligible for return within 7 days, provided the product is unused, in its original packaging, and subject to inspection.

6. Intellectual Property

The content, organization, graphics, design, and other matters related to the Site are protected under applicable copyrights and other proprietary laws.
